Annex 13 of ECES IA: Design, Construction and Maintenance of UTES Wells and Boreholes
General Information
The overall objective of this Annex is to conserve energy and improve the environment by accelerating the introduction of Underground Thermal Energy Storage Systems (UTESS) into the building, industrial, agricultural and aquaculture sectors.
Annex 13 is a result of the Energy Storage Strategy Workshop held in Montreal during January
1995. Annex text will be submitted by Sweden to the XC summer meeting 1997. The annex was approved by the ECES IA at the Executive Committe Meetiong (XC43) Dec. 97 in Paris.
Prof. OlofAndersson, VBB/VIAK Malmö, Sweden, is its Operating Agent.
